Meet the people who keep the wheels turning. It is their job to ensure new teachers a smooth transition to life in Kaohsiung and teaching at KNS.

Rebecca Yeh

Head Office Manager

Rebecca holds a language degree with a major in English from the University of Alethia in Tamsui, northern Taiwan. She worked with KNS for four years as a class coordinator before her promotion to Branch Director upon the opening of KNS6 in 2008. In 2011, Rebecca was promoted once again, this time to the KNS Head Office, where she is the Head Office Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of the company on a long term and day-to-day basis.

Forest Smith

Human Resources Consultant

The first member of the head office from the United States, Forest graduated from the University of Washington with a major in Linguistics. He has been teaching at KNS since 2013 and became the Human Resources Consultant in 2017, helping new teachers get settled in upon their arrival in Taiwan.

Chad Wierzba

Teacher Trainer

Hailing from Alberta, Canada, Chad graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Education. He taught in the Canadian public school system for three years before moving to Taiwan in 2001 to work as an ESL teacher for KNS. Chad is currently our Teacher Trainer, mentoring new teachers in and out of the classroom.

Virginia Mei

Personnel and Examination Administrator

Virginia is our Personnel and Examination Administrator. She has a Bachelor's degree in English from Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages. Virginia's strong communication skills and know-how in computing allow her to handle, among other things, all matters relating to securing work permits and residence visas for newly arrived teachers.

Jenny Chiu

Accounting and Information Director

Jenny Chiu is our Accounting and Information Director. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Wenzao Ursuline College of Languages, here in Kaohsiung, with a focus on English and French. She has experience in business logistics and information management. Jenny started with KNS in early 2010 and, among many other things, is responsible for company-wide accounting and staff payroll.

Emmy Lin

Administrative Editor

Emmy is our Administrative Editor. She is in charge of editing all KNS original publications, both printed and digital. She holds a Bachelor's degree in the Application of Foreign Languages (major in English) from Shu-Te University in Yanchao. Emmy joined our head office team in August of 2014.
